Join Forbes 2024 Best Employer for Diversity!As a senior software developer on the Commercial Lines Core Auto Tools Team, youll spearhead the software development and technical support for our MPU (Mass Policy Update) tool, ensuring it meets our customers needs. As we grow, you'll play a pivotal role in extending support to our growing suite of tools. Youll push for innovation, continuous improvement, enhance efficiency, functionality, performance, quality, bug fixes, and remediate security vulnerabilities. You'll work closely with our business partners to understand requirements, consider design options, and ensure availability goals are met by responding to system outages. Your role will directly impact the business capability to update policies in mass, model future rate revisions, and service our customers. Youll lead by example, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.Participation in an on-call support rotation may be required.This is a remote position for US based work only.Must-have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
Preferred Skills
  • Object-oriented programming in C# and .Net
  • Experience with APIs and SQL server
  • Experience with Duck Creek application development
  • Ability to clarify technical requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels
Compensation
  • $115,000-$132,000/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
